Double Helix is a group of emcees Surreal and Bongo with DJ Balance on the boards and cuts. This is a really solid album and fans of Surreal will know what to expect from him. There is a strong reggae vibe mixed with hip hop on this record, and I believe it meshes very well.

Surreal & DJ Balance - Future Classic (2006)

Surreal dropped two incredibly dope album in 2006, one with just the Sound Providers and this one with DJ Balance although the production is handled by number of different producers. Nevertheless this is a great album with some really great standout tracks.

Surreal - Pardon My Dust (2008)

New album from Surreal and it is exceptionally good. Easily one of my most listened to albums from 2008, I had this shit on repeat in my car for about a month straight. Great production in the jazz/hip hop sound and some really introspective rhymes. A great listen over and over again.
