Sol Uprising - Sol Power (2003)

Album from Stacy Epps and Lil Sci. Lots of singing, a little bit of rapping about introspective and political subjects. I love the production as they use good samples and it has lots of soulful elements.

An avant garde style of soul and hip hop with heavy beats, ethereal vocals and real lyrics, urban alternative of forward-thinking music with a healing energy. - CD Baby Review

That is undoubtedly the best way to describe this female artist from ATL. This album is all about positive energy and heavy beats. Give it a listen.
