In 2006, Insight, the DJ, producer, and MC behind a string of magnificent albums and collaborations (including the Soloplexus album 'The Illusive Adventures of 6 Intrinsic Musicians') decided to team up with Japanese producers DJ RYOW (a.k.a. Smooth Current) and producer Shin-Ski to create a surprisingly good, jazz-influenced album. Besides the dazzling production, the main attraction here is Insight and his amazing lyricism and delivery. In fact, this album is (in my opinion) probably one of the best jazz-rap albums I've heard since ATCQ's Midnight Marauders. It's absolutely worth your time.
